Numbers. It's probably not that different, and I gotta know how many I've got to beat before they get it through their skulls that they're goin' down. Many. Too many and rising. All of our teams are our partners. They're powerful and well seasoned battlers. None of us are afraid of making any opposition disappear. It comes with the job description.

At home, we've completely dominated Johto and have a heavy influence over Kanto. I imagine that a Team Rocket with most of our seniors would have total domination. [Seniors. The slip of his words doesn't even occur to him. He usually just keeps quiet.]

What's your Johto like, anyway? How have you fended us off?

Silver's a lousy bad guy. He's tried to have his way, but he's really - like really - bad at being bad. [he can't remember if this is the silver he's told that the heir was a good guy deep down, but who cares] Me and Crys have no problem keeping him on his toes and out of our region. It'd be easier if he was fighting with us for sure, though, instead of against us.

[he pauses for a split second, just enough to go back to leaning]

Johto's not what you'd call peaceful with all that they'd been up to, but it's not teeming with Rockets like Kanto is. Now that's a region I'd like to see wiped clean. [either of rockets or off the map whichever works better]

A glance at Sneasel and a quick hand gesture is all it takes for the situation to shift from calm and casual to dark and deadly. He heads right behind Gold at a blinding speed with his claws out and ready; provided that Gold's reflexes aren't on par, his throat will meet Sneasel's claws before he has time to understand what's going on.]

Nosy, arrogant, and a thorn in Team Rocket's side. It would be better to kill you now and move on than to deal with you pushing your nose where it doesn't belong.

But I won't. I won't and I never will. That's gonna cause me a lot of grief in the long run, but I don't want to see you hurt.

[Sneasel releases him and slides right off of him; if anything, he spares Gold a glance to make sure he's not really hurt.]

That's what he's thinking. He's the only reason why Johto isn't completely infested and ruled. That's what I think.

Don't expect him to get it, though. Even if he does, he won't admit it.

I've just given up on caring. [Some spiteful part of him hopes that he's right and he's giving that spoiled version of himself some trouble. It makes a bitter grin spread across his face, but neither the grin nor the potential satisfaction last.]

It's also bull that you've given up. You and him have got a ton of differences, but if there's one thing I've seen that's the same in the pool I've met it's that you're stubborn about pretty much everything. There's no way you haven't entertained thoughts of gettin' out someday with that mopey me of yours, taking down Team Rocket and freeing Kanto and Johto. No. Way.
