What's the difference, Gold? What makes you a hero?

I'm not part of an evil organization that steals Pokemon, threatens the peace, and kills people on like a daily basis. I'm fighting against that, to keep Johto and everyone safe, and if that means I gotta play a little dirty for the greater good it's no skin off my nose. Doing what's necessary is what being a hero means.

Yeah? When some crazy old masked man kidnapped my sister and I, I did everything in my power to stop him. That was necessary. I stole, I fled, and I was ready to kill or be killed to do the right thing. The same when I first met my father. The same in Hoenn. The same when Blue stood alongside what i hated the most.

Blue joined Team Rocket because it was necessary. So did Gold. So did I. Heroics turned against us.

It doesn't matter if you're the hero or not. Manipulation is manipulation. Don't pretty up what you do.
