and lo there was a introduction
[ On the edge of the Pleasant Forest biome, there's the typical sight of a trainer and her group of Pokémon clustered together and... having lunch? The creatures chowed their food down with gusto, and the girl herself chewed and gulped down a meal of berries, milk and crepes. While Haruka has no clue of how she actually ended up in this mysterious research facility, she had no particular qualms about exploring what was hidden behind its many, many doors. It wasn't like she had any pressing business to take care of back home, so she felt she could stand to be patient for a bit.
That could wait however, until after lunch. Her Pokémon weren't invincible and there was no reason to push them needlessly.
... Still.
Haruka would really like to know which region she was even in.
Because she's awfully certain that hallways in general aren't suppose to disobey the laws of time and space like that.
Pretty much everybody and their mother can feel free to stroll up to her. ]

...She won't even mind that Haruka looks like her!]
Hi there!

Huh, hel—lo? [ May looks exactly like her, she is confused. ]

[She's so not worried about this sameface thing.]

Sure! Berries for Grovyle, or would he prefer a crepe? [ Haruka wasn't the greatest of chefs, but her food was good. It was that, or choke down berries for the entirety of her journey.
One of her Pokémon—a Breloom—perks up from its meal at the newcomers. ]

[Grovyle gives the breloom a glance when it perks up, but soon returns his attention to the berries. B...berries!!]
no subject
Hah, you sound hungry.
[ Breloom, having eaten his fill, succumbs to his own curiosity and wanders over. ]

[Grovyle happily accepts the napkin at the same time May accepts the crepe. She bites into it and -- ahhh, that's good.]
This is pretty good, uh -- wait, I never got your name! I'm not too late to ask for it... I'm May! What about you?

But the Woobat does like the smell of those milk and crepes, so off she flies to land in Haruka's lap. Give her the crepe!
Dawn's quick to follow though.]
Ex... Excuse me! That's Fuzzbi, and she seems to like your sweets. Can she have some?
no subject
When the Woobat plucks down in her lap, Haruka automatically lifts her lunch out of reach.
Then Dawn follows her. She glances over at her. ]
Fuzzbi? Is that her species' name? [ A-ah cutie. And well, it's not like she can't buy more ingredients later. A little laughingly; ] Alright, how can I refuse?
[ Fuzzbi can sip from the bowl of milk she sets out first before offering her any crepe. Normally, the bowl is reserved for her Delcatty, but she wouldn't mind sharing.]
no subject
The Pokedex doesn't say anything about it, so I don't even know its species name. I just named her that because she's a flying dust bunny.
[A very cute, surprisingly fast one. Bats are cool. Fuzzbi will happily drink some of that milk and eat some crepes.]
no subject
Weird. So, it's a newly discovered Pokemon? Well, I applaud your naming sense then.
[Her own Pokemon are beginning to finish up their meals. Meaning, it's nearly time to start washing off plates and crumb-filled foodbowls.]

One step at a time then.
[ Dawn obviously treats her partners very well, as friends like they should be. Especially she had managed to evolve a Crobat. A good trainer, in her opinion. ]

No, Crystal, no time to be your species trademark. Introductions are in order. ...From her tree.]
Hello there!
no subject
She was a person highly tolerant of weirdness anyhow. How else had she put up with all the erratic weirdos she'd met on the road?
The tree-girl gets a nod of greeting. ]
'ello. I'm Haruka.
no subject
I'm Crystal, but you can call me Crys. It's nice to meet you.
no subject
Same here. [ Generally Haruka say enough to get the point across or be friendly, and not much else.] ... Is that comfortable?
[The whole sticking out of a tree thing. ]
no subject
Why wouldn't it be?
no subject
So it is?

But he's unsure if he could join Haruka in her delicious looking meal, so he lingers nearby and wishes his stomach didn't growl so loudly. His Vileplume is happily dancing in the sunlight though.
Grrrroowwllll.]
no subject
Then her attention is diverted temporarily to the Vileplume cheerfully twirling and dancing in the sunlight of the forest. She watches the grass type in silence for a short while, fascinated before remembering the grumbles she had heard issuing from the boy's stomach. The trainer glances at him.
Quietly; ]
Hungry?
no subject
He's been caught.]
Uh huh. Haven't eaten all morning. [Red motions to Plumer.] She's been wanting to explore.
no subject
[ She invites him cheerfully, trying to not chuckle at his expressions. Then Haruka looks at Plumer. ] The adventurous sort? Hah, it's best to have an adventure on a full stomach.
no subject
Thank you. We won't take up a lot of your time. [Mmm this looks good. But wait! You should know names before you take someone's food.] ... I'm Red, and this is Plumer.
no subject
'elcome. It's good to meet you. [ Red, she's definitively heard that name before... ? Nah, probably isn't important. She smiles, short and to the point. ] I'm Haruka.
