and lo there was a introduction
[ On the edge of the Pleasant Forest biome, there's the typical sight of a trainer and her group of Pokémon clustered together and... having lunch? The creatures chowed their food down with gusto, and the girl herself chewed and gulped down a meal of berries, milk and crepes. While Haruka has no clue of how she actually ended up in this mysterious research facility, she had no particular qualms about exploring what was hidden behind its many, many doors. It wasn't like she had any pressing business to take care of back home, so she felt she could stand to be patient for a bit.
That could wait however, until after lunch. Her Pokémon weren't invincible and there was no reason to push them needlessly.
... Still.
Haruka would really like to know which region she was even in.
Because she's awfully certain that hallways in general aren't suppose to disobey the laws of time and space like that.
Pretty much everybody and their mother can feel free to stroll up to her. ]

She was a person highly tolerant of weirdness anyhow. How else had she put up with all the erratic weirdos she'd met on the road?
The tree-girl gets a nod of greeting. ]
'ello. I'm Haruka.
no subject
I'm Crystal, but you can call me Crys. It's nice to meet you.

Same here. [ Generally Haruka say enough to get the point across or be friendly, and not much else.] ... Is that comfortable?
[The whole sticking out of a tree thing. ]
no subject
Why wouldn't it be?
no subject
So it is?
no subject
[She'll step out of it too, no problem. The nicest thing about being what she is is being not so different, appearance wise, than a regular human. It makes blending in easier.]
no subject
[ Haruka had never heard of a region where the humans (?) could have abilities similar to Pokemon, like blending into trees. But Crystal seemed to show evidence otherwise. ]
no subject
no, a world without that.]
I only say that because you resemble someone I know, but I'm very sure you're not her.
no subject
Who do I resemble?
[ What's being overly prying. ]
no subject
A girl named Sapphire. [That's safe to give out. No problems here.] She's not human, however.
no subject
Sapphire? [ She cocks her head. Well, last question, promise; ] Does she do the tree-thing, too?
no subject
No, it's a dryad thing. [...As Gold would put it.] She's a werewolf, and she lives in a forest - I think - but she can't go into trees to rest the same way I can.
no subject
What's a werewolf. ]
Sounds cool. [ At least her look-alike is something that sounds awesome. A forest aren't that bad of a place to live, except its missing the perks of civilization. Like warm showers and soft beds. And hair conditioner. ] That's a neat ability to have.
