and lo there was a introduction
[ On the edge of the Pleasant Forest biome, there's the typical sight of a trainer and her group of Pokémon clustered together and... having lunch? The creatures chowed their food down with gusto, and the girl herself chewed and gulped down a meal of berries, milk and crepes. While Haruka has no clue of how she actually ended up in this mysterious research facility, she had no particular qualms about exploring what was hidden behind its many, many doors. It wasn't like she had any pressing business to take care of back home, so she felt she could stand to be patient for a bit.
That could wait however, until after lunch. Her Pokémon weren't invincible and there was no reason to push them needlessly.
... Still.
Haruka would really like to know which region she was even in.
Because she's awfully certain that hallways in general aren't suppose to disobey the laws of time and space like that.
Pretty much everybody and their mother can feel free to stroll up to her. ]

Dawn doesn't even flinch at the growling as she simply lays the Pokedex on her lap once it's done its reading. She's had her experiences.]
Yeah. His name's AR-CEUS who're they, mocking the Original One like that? and he's not that big of a jerk. He's just doing what he was programmed to do: run tests on admittedly unwilling participants to research everything from statistics to human emotions. It doesn't seem like there's any other scientists or his creators even around though.
[If she's honest with herself, she's kind of worried about him.]

Haruka pets the Mightyena soothingly, rubbing its ruffled black fur. Slowly, the low growling stops.]
... AR-CEUS. [ Naming an AI after a god seems like it's just begging for trouble, in her opinion. She keeps quiet about that. A short nod. ] He doesn't sound that bad, at least. But, except for us participants, unwilling or otherwise, he's been alone in here?

Thanks for telling me about this, Dawn. [ Haruka smiles slightly. ]

Haruka had learned her lesson well when it came to that sort of thing. ]
Right. Nobody should get hurt, or it'll be no good.
You're welcome.
