your shoujo is beginning!
[Ah, high school.
A truly wonderful and inspiring time for all. With the school year starting, faceless students mingling about and chatting -- catching up over their summer, or grabbing their friends to congratulate them on getting into the world's top Pokémon Trainer's School -- with the cherry blossoms spinning in the wind from the rows of them lining the school's beautiful golden gates...
Yes, there's truly nothing better!
Except for perhaps the middle school just beside this beautiful campus; there's a small lake between them where the grades intermingle, and the excitement of the day - and maybe even the bell ringing to signify classes, lunch, or break! - is vibrantly in the air!
Just be careful that the principal doesn't see you with your Pokémon out! That would distract the other students, after all...]
[ooc: welcome to the high school au room! also middle school, if your character's not quite aged enough. with uniforms, cheery blossoms, and the exciting promise of an excellent spring for all classes and grades, it's sure to be a blast!
please mingle and thread amongst yourselves, and have a great time! if it's school au, it's free to go!]

Don't insult me! [wait.] What's a tautology.

Which just... basically means...]
So I'm right and the world's just what it is because that's how it is. [That's all she got out of it. That she's right and his dumb math thing is wrong.]
no subject
[ this would normally be the point where he challenges you to a Pokémon battle to test your ideals!!! but this is a high school and he will be civilized. m...ostly civilized. ]
no subject
I just don't like math. Sorry. [At least she sounds sincere about it? She always feels a little bad when she grinds his dreams into the dust.] ...I guess I could come by and hang out with you, as long as you don't expect me to join it or anything.
no subject
... That would be acceptable. [ he doesn't look happy about that at all, okay. there's just a twitch in his lips!! ]
no subject
because she totally wouldn't be secretly pleased over you being secretly happy or whatever]
Then I'll come by when I can! When's it meet? [she has sports clubs to do and whatever so she'll need to make time for him]
no subject
[ seeing as there is only really him in the club, scheduling is flexible... ]
no subject
How about Wednesday instead? I have track practice on Thursday.
no subject
[ speaking of track, though... ]
You really play a lot of sports, I see...
no subject
[...Four isn't a lot, right?]
no subject
[ which really begs the question of whether or not he's good at it, considering men's lacrosse is... kind of violent. ]
no subject
Are you any good?
